Ubokia – A Place to List What You Want To Purchase

Have you heard of Ubokia? Well, it’s an online site that takes Craigslist to a whole new level.  On Ubokia, you list what you want, how much you want to spend and sellers contact you! How neat is that? Did I mention that it’s free?

Say you want to buy a bicycle for your son. Just log on and list in as much detail the kind of bike you want, your location, how much you want to spend, you can do tags and pick a category.  Make sure you write a description if your Want is pretty specific, like size M summer maternity clothes.

Your Wants are also listed on their Facebook page for maximum exposure.  They’re there to help get you what you want.

OK, you know you want to get some things for your family but you don’t quite have the money at the moment – you can also search for people on Ubokia who want to buy things that you have and sell to them. It’s a whole new shopping experience.  Ubokia also has a neat feature that allows you to list on your dashboard items you might want to sell but haven’t quite gotten around to selling just yet. When a person lists on Ubokia that they want to buy an item similar to what you have to sell, you’ll get a message letting you know. That way you can be the first to contact the buyer.

A pretty wonderful fact about Ubokia is that they have partnered up with the organization CARE.  For every active new member that posts a Want, Ubokia will donate money to CARE to help fight global poverty up to $50,000!
