I was super excited to receive to mixes from Country Gourmet Hometo try out. I received Chicken Enchilada Soup and Garlic Sesame Blend Dip Mix. I loved both. They are very easy to use and each only contains a few other ingredients to finish out the meal. For the Chicken Enchilada Soup mix:
- Soup mix
- chunks of chicken – I used from a big can of chicken and it was great
- diced tomatoes
- water and milk. I mixed them together so I only had one dirty dish.
- Tortilla chips and cheese – optional garnish for the end
You mix the first 4 ingredients together in a pot and simmer for about 20 minutes. When you’re done you just put the soup in a bowl and top with tortilla chips and cheese. The cheese melts in and becomes a wonderful treat. We were having tacos the night we tried this soup and it was a perfect addition. My husband and I both really enjoyed this soup. It had wonderful flavor and substance. I really loved that this was so quick, easy and cost-saving dish. It’s perfect for any budget and for weeknight meals! For Easter I always make special bread. To go along with my bread I decided to try the Garlic Sesame Blend Dip Mix. You simply add a stick of softened butter to half the packet. It was really great and perfect with my homemade bread. All of my guests really loved the dip mix. This dip mix is really versatile. You can use it as a dip for things like veggies or as a butter the way I did. I loved both and will be getting more. Now for the really exciting part for you! Country Gourmet Home has offered to give one reader the same 2 mixes I received.
*I was provided the mixes for free but all opinions are my own.
