MPG Performance Workout Clothing Review and Giveaway!!

When I was asked to review an outfit for MPG I can’t begin to tell you how excited I was.  Their workout clothing is so nice that this was a real treat for me. MPG let me choose my own outfit to review so I chose their Helix Skort and Maven Shirt.  What sets MPG apart from other workout clothing companies is that they get their inspiration for their designs from the fashion runways so that not only will your outfits be performance ready but also look sleek and fashion ready.

I picked the Helix Skort because I’m a sucker for skorts.  I started wearing them when I was pregnant with my second child and have been hooked ever since. I’ve run mud runs in them  and find them versatile and cute. The Helix skort didn’t disappoint. It has great lines and the part I love the most is that it has a little flair at the bottom. You can almost twirl in the skort! Now I do mud runs, mountain bike and other physical activities but I still want to look feminine and pretty while I’m doing it. The helix skort allows me to do that. I have a 2 year old who is very girly so it’s fun to put on my skort and twirl with her.

One last thing to mention about the skort is that it has a inner key pocket in the shorts portion.  How totally convenient and helpful is that? That way you can run anywhere and not have to lug around alot of items.

The Maven shirt is equally nice and has beautiful lines and features. There is alot of stitching work on the Maven and it all works to slim and show off your curves.  It has cute little accent dots and is really pretty. The dots are also reflective to give you that added safety feature. I run in the early mornings so it’s nice knowing I have lots of ways for people to see me. It comes in blue, black and white.  I picked white to help keep me cool in the southern heat I live in.  My favorite feature on the shirt is the back pocket.  It has an invisible zipper so it’s not bulky. It’s perfect for holding your licence, credit card and key. So if you’re running and want to stop for a water no biggie. You have a place for your money. I also like to have my ID on me for those “just in case moments”.
