This was really yummy and healthy. The steak and gravy only have 308 calories per serving! What I love about this gravy is that it can take an OK cut of meat and make it really great.
Serving size 2
- 2 6 oz steaks
- 1 cup of water
- 2 big dashes of Worcestershire sauce
- 2 garlic cloves finely diced
- 2 tsp whole peppercorns
- 1 beef bouillon cube
- 1 tbsp of flour
Broil steaks to desired doneness. In the meantime, prepare sauce. Mix water and bouillon and cook until dissolved. In a separate bowl, mix garlic, Worcestershire, flour and several spoonfuls of bouillon water. I kept adding spoonfuls until flour was completely mixed and was no longer lumpy. Then you add the flour mix to the sauce and cook until it’s thick like gravy. Crack 3/4 of the peppercorns and add to the sauce. Pour sauce over steaks and add remaining peppercorns.
