I was super excited when I received the Hoover WindTunnel Air Bagless Upright vacuum to review. It is really lightweight and compact. For a vacuum it’s pretty quiet; which I like. I put it together in just a few minutes and it was really pretty simple. I immediately started vacuuming and it seemed to do a good job but since I vacuum every other day there is never much on the floor so I wasn’t sure just how good of a job it was doing. My question was answered the day I steam cleaned my carpet. Even with immediately vacuuming before steam cleaning my cleaner would always pull up black dog hair from our Border Collie. This time I vacuumed with the Hoover Windtunnel and almost no dog hair came up when I steam cleaned! That sold me on the vacuum.
It’s super easy to clean out with just the press of a button the bottom opens and the trash falls out. Love that!
I’m not hugely wowed by the wand and extended arm. I can’t get the wand to sit anywhere in the vacuum so it get’s left in my closet most of the time. Even with this minor annoyance I still love this vacuum and will be keeping it for years to come.
