My son who loves all things sea-related was thrilled when we received a pirate costume for him to review from Buy Pirates Costumes. The costume came with a distressed leather like jacket with attached vest, pants with attached boot tops, pirate hat, attached bandana and waist sash. My favorite parts of this outfit was the hat and the red sash. Both of those were really nice and lots of fun to wear.
The rest of the costume was a bit big for my son b/c I ordered by his age and not the measurements they provide. I highly recommend ordering by the measurements with this costume. My son is acting like a pirate in this picture so you may not be able to tell how big it was on him. I think the pants would have fit me. So when ordering this fun costume make sure you measure your child. On the upside he’ll be able to wear this costume when he feels like riding the seas for quite some time.
Other than the size issue that was probably more my fault we liked the costume and think it’s great for play dates and dress up. Buy Pirates Costumes not only has kid costumes but also adults. So if you’re looking for a pirate or wench themed costume for Halloween check them out!
My son is 6 yrs old and dressed up as Jack Sparrow last Halloween and we have been trying to decide what he wants to be this year. I cannot believe October is just around the corner. Where did the year go.
