Snowflake Night Craft Fun and Frugal for the Kids!

Snowflake Night Craft Fun and Frugal for the Kids!

My son really enjoyed doing this craft and it was super easy and cheap! I had all of the supplies already but if you had to purchase them it wouldn’t cost too much.

Supplies:

  • White poster board (11×14)
  • Blue and white paint. I only had dark blue so I mixed it with white glitter paint to lighten it up a bit.
  • silver glitter
  • scissors
  • paint brush or cotton ball
  • Q-tips
  • glue

Step 1: Have your child paint the white board with blue paint. I found that a paint brush or cotton ball did a good job.

Step 2:  Next I sprinkled glitter all over the board and shook it off to get rid of the excess glitter. Then we moved inside.

Step 3: Put 1 Q-tip that has glue on one side down on the paper. Put several in different places. Each Q-tip represents a snowflake. Next cut enough Q-tips in half to go with each snowflake you have on your painting. Then cut the tips off of several Q-tips and glue them to finish out your snowflake.

Step 4: Sit back and admire your new painting! This would make a great Christmas present for Grandparents or to hang in your child’s room for the winter.
