I’m super excited and pumped today because all of my working out has started paying off. I just started week 3 of new workout routine and I have lost 2.5 lbs so far! Yippee! I’m going to be doing a video soon showing you every thing I’m doing that I think has helped from how I organized my pantry, fridge to my workouts. I’m really enjoying my new workouts and can’t tell you how relieved I am that the scale is finally starting to move in the right direction. I was really getting discouraged so it’s a relief to get back on track and feeling better about what I’m doing and eating.
I started off today by running/walking with a neighborhood buddy. We’re on week 4 of our C25K program, we started on week 3 b/c we are both already somewhat active. It’s fun having someone to talk to while I’m huffing it around the neighborhood. This morning we ran 5 minutes/walked 4 minutes x 2 with a 5 min warm up and cool down. Honestly I felt I could have run alot longer but want to follow the plan to make sure I’m doing it as safely as possible and don’t burn out.
Next I came home and did my Chalene Extreme workout for over 30 minutes and finished it off with a 2 week workout challenge I’m doing with Mamavation. We’re on week 2 right now. Did you know you can find workouts on Youtube? For some reason I never thought to look there. Of course the standard goes that if it hurts in a bad way always stop what you’re doing and make sure you are physically capable of working out via a Doctor. That being said Mamavation put together a nice little workout you can do by watching the youtube videos. I’m doing the beginner version. What I would suggest is printing them off and keeping them so after the challenge is over you’ll have them.
Here are two of my favorite workout videos:
Julie looks amazing and seems to have a whole bunch of videos to go through. Also looks like she went out to be a Biggest Loser Trainer.
So there are some fun and free workouts you can add to your routine. Probably on Wednesday I’ll discuss what I’m doing with my food that has really made a difference.
